History

The Bailly was opened in 1998. It was named after Emmanuel Bailly, the first President of the St Vincent de Paul Society when it was established by Frederic Ozanam in France in1833. In 2005, The Bailly came under the umbrella of the St Vincent de Paul Aged and Special Care Services, which was a new company established by the St Vincent de Paul Society to run its aged care services. In May 2007, The Bailly became part of Catholic Healthcare.
