At St Joseph's Aged Care, our 56 place low care community in Coffs Harbour, development will begin on an extension early to mid 2008. The new two-storey extension will be located at the rear of the existing Azalea Avenue complex, with frontage to Pitt Street.
This purpose-built extension will allow St Joseph's to provide care and support to a total of 112 residents, as well as offering care to more frail residents through the introduction of high and dementia-specific care services. We will also be introducing Extra Service Status options.
Stage 1 works have begun which includes the refurbishment of Malouf House and Flaherty House, as well as creating a new servery linking both houses. As these buildings join, it creates the new dementia unit. |
