St Augustine's Aged Care, our 51 place high care community in Coffs Harbour, is undergoing refurbishment works to upgrade two existing wings to allow the introduction of low care services.
Stage 1 is the refurbishment of Good Shepherd House and the relocation of the staff and administrative areas to the ground floor, creating a welcoming arrival point with a new entry and foyer. Construction has begun on the new Education Room.
The residents currently in Lilly Pilly House at St Augustine's will be tranferred to the new dementia unit at St Joseph's Aged Care, when complete.
Stage 2a is the refurbishment of Lilly Pilly House and refurbishment of the courtyard and entry. Stage 2b is the refurbishment of Good Samaritan House.
