Continuing on from the great traditions of care and community involvement begun by the Sisters of Mercy, McQuoin Park, located at 28 McAuley Place Waitara, will be upgraded and expanded to cater for the growing need for comprehensive aged care services in the area.
McQuoin Park is a thriving residential aged care community that promotes a philosophy that recognises the value and individuality of each and every resident. McQuoin Park currently cares for 73 residents in low and high care accommodation, 35 residents in seniors living units and respite care is available.
With the upgrade and expansion of McQuoin Park, Stage 1 includes a new 105 bed residential aged care service for frail older people and people with dementia, 21 seniors living units for independent living and a continuation of community day care services. Future stages include the development of approximately 150 seniors living units and associated community facilities.
Construction will commence in 2008. For more information and enquiries about residential options, please contact us on 1800 618 822 or Lia Fraser on 0404 049 922.
