Community Services Central West

Community Services Central West provides care and support services to frail older men and women in the Local Government Areas of Bathurst, Blayney, Cabonne, Cowra, Forbes, Lithgow, Oberon, Orange and Parkes.

Services include:

Community Aged Care Packages (CACPs)
Planned and coordinated care services to help older people with complex needs remain in their own homes.

Extended Aged Care at Home (EACH)
Comprehensive nursing and in-home care packages to help frail older people with high care needs continue living at home.

Other services

• Support for Day to Day Living in the Community Program
• Mental Health Respite services.

History

Community Services Central West was previously known as 'Community Care Central West' and 'Catholic Community Care Bathurst'. Catholic Community Care Bathurst was a partnership between the Sisters of Mercy, Bathurst and Catholic Healthcare. Community Care Central West transferred to Catholic Healthcare on 30 June 2007 and was renamed to Community Services Central West in 2008.
