Bethlehem House is an aged care home where residents, their families and friends enjoy a caring, comfortable and safe place to call home. Bethlehem House cares for 32 residents in low care. At Bethlehem House your care and happiness is our top priority.
There are three levels with a lift to connect all floors. Each bedroom has its own ensuite, vital call system and an outlet for television.
There is an activities area with a big screen TV, comfortable seating, and a piano/pianola, plus an organ.
The dining area seats four at each table for each meal. An attractive courtyard with a water feature, potted palms and plants create a peaceful area in the middle of Kogarah Town Centre. On Level 3, there are tea bars where residents, family and friends can have morning and afternoon tea and socialise.
A mini bus is provided to take residents on outings as part of the service's activities program. Programs are available to help maintain and promote the health and well-being of the residents.
There is a visiting podiatrist, health professionals and a hairdresser.
Staff can escort residents to appointments as needed, if the family is not available to assist. Residents who are able invited to choose their own doctor and a doctor's room is avaiable for consultations.
